MAS PACE SIGNATURE PROJECTS
1- COMMUNITY CIVIC ENGAGEMENT
This project mobilizes the community towards civic engagement with the society at large by building coalitions and joining forces with the civic organizations. The objectives of this project are to address issues of national interest such as healthcare, affordable housing, education, unemployment, public safety and disaster responsiveness as well as advocacy of public policy addressing social and economic justice on the state and federal level.
2- My Voice My Vote (MV2)
This project is designed to promote good citizenship through political education, training, and non-partisan electoral involvement. The My Vote My Voice (MV2) campaign emphasizes voter registration, education and mobilization.
3- The Center for Interfaith Affairs (CFIFA)
This project provides an avenue through which the American Muslim community engages with members of other faith groups to promote values of respect and understanding between religious and ethnic groups. This is accomplished through dialogue and joint initiatives that will reinforce religious freedom, mutual respect and acceptance, and working for the common good.
4- Young Muslim Leadership of America Project
This project provides workshops, lectures, and seminars that focus on building an understanding of the civic, political, cultural, religious, and media landscape of America. These programs are designed to stretch the leadership skill-set of American Muslim youth by fostering a confidence within our youth that they can successfully lead and engage the greater American society without compromising their religious integrity and core values.
5- American Muslim National Agenda 2012-2017
A forum to facilitate and coordinate the development of a domestic and international socially responsible agenda for 2012-2017
6- MAS-PACE Leadership Civic Training Series
This project provides a series of interactive workshops in the areas of Activism, Coalition Building, Civic Empowerment, and Political Participation.
